Well, I am enjoying your shows immensely, and was catching up on this and last week (busy few weeks with no time for listening to podcasts sadly, no fault of yours ;-)

Anyway I thought I would post with two thoughts that rose from your podcast.

The first is, since Wren gave a lovely rendition of Baa Baa Black Sheep, my 3 year old's take on the song. This is what happens, obviously, when your mother has become a yarn addict. Oh, and jumpers are what those Americans such as yourself call "Sweaters"

"Baa Baa White Sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for the jumpers,
one for the frogs,
and one for the little girl with holes in her socks."

Cute, huh? And no, I don't know why the frogs got a mention either. Maybe it's cold in the lilypond.

Oh, and the second thing.

An excellent trick I got from a lady at my monthly knitting circle.
When knitting on double pointed needles, slip a stitch over (after knitting it) onto the next needle around everytime you finish a needle. It spreads the tension out as you go around and prevents the strong ladder effect you get otherwise.

Take care, and thanks!

I really enjoyed this! I'm new to your show - thanks for introducing me to Wren and her fab lyrics. (I'm with you though - a little punk sensibility would be fun... Have you heard the excellent Knitta, Please?)

Now, just since you ask (in an earlier post) for suggestions... more links would be very welcome. Previous commenters have already asked about men's patterns, I also want to know about that company you mention that's working on a bag! Give us linky goodness please...

No,

there was no potty conversation on the show. We recorded in the living room. When you have better mics and your pumkin is out of town you can record just about anywhere...

Really great show. Your interview with Wren was sooo interesting. The only thing I really worried about was when you said you were in your studio...you didn't interview Wren in the bathroom, did you?
I love the music, too.

Yet again you are right on the money. Great episode. What was the name of the designer that might have decent men's sweaters? And Guido where are your pattern links? You said you had patterns for men's sweaters that are too easy, heck me? I need easy!

There *may* be something up with your RSS feed and/or the way this particular post has been enclosed. It's not showing up in Feedburner, and although they may just not have updated that yet, the enclosure also seems to be missing from your wordpress feed itself. Of course, I could just be missing it; xml is annoying to read.
