3.25 Stars Baby

So I was doing some research for this weeks show this morning and I googled knitting and I found this:

I'm in Google News??
Someone did a review of my show yesterday who isn’t a knitter. Check out the review at Bostonist.com

Ok… so my sound does suck a bit… But I am working on it every week. What do you guys think. What could I do to improve my show? I can take it. (but be gentle)

I wish I knew how to fix iTunes issues, but that is something I have no control over, but if you tell me your problem I can try and figure out what is going wrong…

I think the sound has improved a LOT. Just keep at it. I had no problem with iTunes other than the show did not show up until Sunday pm sometime. But I also have it on Newsgator so I knew right away after it was posted. I think I was the first one to listen to the last show :)
Hey getting an overall good review is GREAT!

The sound is very tolerable, it never struck me as that bad. But maybe your charming voice distracted me from it. I kinda like the amateur sound. Rough, ya know;-)

Guido, you’re doing great! I really enjoy the show. This may sound weird, but I like hearing your trials and tribulations of being a new knitter. I learned to knit as a child so I’m kind of fearless when it comes to what I do. I think it’s interesting to hear from the perspective of a person who learned to knit as an adult:)
ps-my daughter’s initials are KGB (NOT on purpose).

Yep, sounds good and the review was quite positive you forgot to mention that part!

Guido, I also think you are doing a great job. Really enjoy listening to you and I like that your podcast isn’t super polished like a network news show. You are just a laid back knitter who likes talking about it and obviously 200+ of us like listening to you.

You’d be a great addition to my knitting group if you only lived in Atlanta. Oh, I like the new microphone, you voice is coming through very clear.

So somehow, to me, this sounded really positive. The critic admitted several times that he knows nothing about knitting but did say that those of us who do, would really dig your cast. Also stated, interview others-cool and true, and you tell about happenings. This shines a light to the passionate community organizer that you are. You rule Man!

Hey, do you think knitters will get the handle: Tinkerbell?
I was tink-ing so much yesturday that I said to myself, your name should be Tinkerbell.
So, it’s back to tinking for me,
    Cheers,
    Massive Blond.

As said previously by others, your podcast continues to improve. I find it funny, interesting and I will continue to listen. And I did not have to look ‘purl’ up in the dictionary.

Oh, please! Your sound is fine. I love your podcast! 5 stars in my book, and I don’t even live in the Boston area.
