KNIT IN PUBLIC 2006
Tommorrow is going to be world wide knit in public day. I am going to be knitting in front of the aubonpain on Mass Ave in Harvard square (it’s also known as the forbes pavilion or something). I will be there from 11am until I run out of stitch markers.
FYI – The media has been notified and WBUR might show up with a photographer. So You may want to put a little product in your hair….yeah…right
Also, it is Boston pride weekend, and I think as knitters we should have pride in what we do… so come out and show your knitting colors. Stand up and be counted, or sit down and count your stitches.
One more thing, please do not come to the wwkipday directly from the bike World Naked Bike Ride. I hope I don’t have to explain why. However, it would be kinda funny to be dragged away by the police for naked knitting.
Hey Guido– This is actually for the Globe, not WBUR (which explains the photographer). No need to fear. Everyone just act natural! Um, like you always knit at the Au Bon Pain. (Maybe you do!)
Actually, I was wondering what a radio station was doing sending a photographer……
(Still trying to figure out which project to bring).
