You could try to drink … a lot. I have found that knitting while around my family helps me ignore them and pretend to count even when I’m not.
They just leave me alone and let me knit and I don’t have to talk to those people I don’t know or like. It’s better than going in and playing the annoying ppl bingo game.

Hey Guido -
Thanks so much for taking time to visit with us. Steve and I had such a great time with you and “Punkin” (used with the utmost respect). Our team is still talking about you and the wedding project and are in need of an update! I think I can safely say you have your back up team should it be required! You needed some Jimmy Buffet Holiday instead of Twisted Sister - just our suggestion
Or at least Charlie Brown Christmas. Don’t get me wrong - I’m a product of the 80’s (I was a slave to Aqua Net) but a Buffet interlude would’ve been so cool 
We recorded our next show today and made a huge shout out to your podcast and the interview. We’ll run here locally on Saturday and be up on iTunes early next week.

I was asked to knit a huppah for my chosen-brother’s wedding a few years back.. but before I got to the point of actually starting, they changed their minds and used a hand-woven prayer shawl instead… so no giant lace knitting for me!
Hope it goes well.. do we get to see pictures?
Thanks for the podcasts, they keep me company on bus rides and cafe knitting sessions!

Thank you for your podcasts. They are so great! I am looking forward to uploading them all to my ipod to keep me company on the long ride home to New Orleans. I just enjoy them so much that I am sure I will enjoy lisening to them all again. It will also give me something to listen to when my great Aunt begins to grill me as to why my husband and I don’t have any offspring.

Here is another Reindeer game- it’s silly and a little demented:
Find someone to compete with, then pick a start and end date for the contest. Keep count of how many Christmas trees you see that have an animal, angel, etc for the topper that appear to be, um, ’sitting on the tree’. If you get my drift!
It gives you a little secret giggle when shopping in stores and boring company holiday parties!

I’m constantly amazed at all the things that yarn can be made out of! it’s crazy! Corn yarn. Do you think it would make you crave popcorn every time you knit with it?
