On today’s show, I get a little yarn-a-lot assist from Kris, I plug Knitters Uncensored (love it), and I do an interview with Carol Martin of farm house yarn. The Music at the end is Apple Sauce verses Sour Cream by the Levees

    After hearing Carol’s interview about farmers throwing away wool, I had to tell you about my find. I pass by a field several times a week that has 6 llamas. They are beautiful. I stopped to ask about their fiber and was told that they throw it away! I asked if I could have it when they sheared and they were thrilled that I wanted it. To make a long story short, I have over 7 lbs. of beautiful llama fiber ready to spin for the cost of processing (about $.85 an ounce). Plus they are going to give me more fiber next year!

    Oh My! Love, love, love the song you used this week. I was stocking shelves in a bookstore and burst out laughing. Thankfully there was no one else around at the time! It would be hard to explain if you have never exprienced the “Great Latke Condiment Debate”!

    Hi–I’m a new to the whole podcast thing–but I’ve been really enjoying yours. The song this week made me laugh. Since I’m not Jewish, I don’t have to make a choice! I put sour cream AND applesauce on my potato pancakes! Crazy, but true. Thanks for the great interviews.

    so I got a huge amount of fiber back from zeilwiger, and a buncha dye. you and a select crew up for a “cookout n dye” (put the lobsterpots on the grill, and make it go) ?
