WWKIP2007-COPLEY recap

There you have it, knitters in public.
From the left to the right Guido, Emily/Omly(thanks for the pic), Alexis, Susan(loves to fly fish), ?friend or Ariel?,Ariel(rabid sock knitter), Tab, Ariana.
So after hanging around the outdoor spot for half an hour, I moved to the indoor spot where I found Emily and Tab. Soon more knitters showed up, which is pretty sweet, considering I was pretty sure I was going alone. Emily and Ariel are two knitters who I met last year at WWKIP, so it was kind of fun to have them back again.
It was a nice time out… I love hanging out knitting, but you already know that. Sorry Suzanne didn’t find us (we were still there).
If you did a WWKIP, please let me know how it went. ![]()

Hi Guido!
Check out my blog http://www.knitintensity.wordpress.com for details about the Minneapolis WWKIP. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

Next year will require better planning, like plying you with chocolate or similar to personally escort me to the location. A sense of direction is not one pf my superpowers.

I don’t know how I missed you guys- I went to the food court area around 1-1:30!
Mysterious.

I don’t know if my kip counted. It wasn’t an organized one. I had some time to kill and worked on a sock in a coffee shop.

I was at KnittersConnection.com in Columbus during the day. But in the evening, I did get out and knit at dinner, in public. I think that counts!
You should come to the knittersconnection.com in 2008. This year was fun.

All 21 of us squeezed in to the Melrose Public Library Conference Room, as knitting in the park was just too wet. Most folks came by themselves, but left with new friends. We even had two elementary aged knitters whipping out the stitches! It was such a good time that we’ll try it outside again. The Melrose parks is sponsoring Knit in Cedar Park on September 22 from 2 to 5… See you there! photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/tactiletravel/

ooooooooooh!! I was late and missed you guys! I went to Pride hoping to catch the parade’s end which of course I missed (blame the late friend!), I watched the band playing for a bit and realized it was quarter after 3 and hopped the trolley. I probably just missed everyone.

I sure hope that’s rabid in a good way!
