I have missed you a great deal this week. Since I have been trapped in my office all day and night we have not had a chance to commune. Dreaded work, PR, and my engagement party are only continue to seperate us.
I have had some thoughts of how what to do with you upon our reunion and I would love to tell you about it. You see, I have met this woman, and am totally crushing on her. Her name is Elizabeth and she promises to teach me about knitting in a 12 session knitting class on DVD.
How I adore her sensabilities. She has written many books and I have been loving her words so, and to now be able to hear direction through the power of DVD is amazing. She is incredible with the needle, but I wish she would slow down some times. (thank god for the return to chapter button.
So until next we meet,
(Not that you would find someone else to knit with… I am a jealus knitter and will not have it..)
I don’t know why, but I am currently under attack by comment spammers. This blows.
Anyhow, I will have full show notes up tonight for the show. I got caught up in a wonderful afternoon and evening with my pumkin last night and didn’t feel like firing up the computer.
Have great day and don’t forget to send in some knitting jokes for the itty bitty Hat book drawing.
This extra long episode has been brought to you by Procrastination. Because now I have so much to say and so little time to get it out there. More links and notes to come, but I thought you might want this show now
Please send in your knitting jokes to 2skiens-at-itsapurlman.com for you chance to win the cutest baby hat book ever (listen to the show).

No show today. Sorry. I could give you the laundry list, but will spare you.
Basically, I have one to many thins on my needles of life and am slowly clearing these things up.
I really love doing the show and will get back on a regular schedule soon, but please bear with me for a little. In the mean time I have set up some fun interviews so that when I do get back you will have a chance to here more about the knitting
revolution world in Boston.
Thanks for listening
This weekend, I swear… A new episode is coming. Last weekend was time with my Siblings. David really loved doing the show and will be coming back in a couple of weeks to report on how his hat is coming along as well as keeping me in check.
On the next show The Rainy Day Episode we will explore the lamenting world that is my knitting melancholy. I know it would be good to start up with an up note, but I am not known for doing what is write. Here are the segments to look forward to:
Yarn-a-lot: I miss you guys, here is the dirt…
Return of the Purple Monkey: It won’t get off my back, and I won’t let go…
A ray of sunshine: Baby hats… a review of the best baby hat book ever… (Cooo!)
This show will have major sprinklings of Tom Waits (yeah baby), Death Cab For Cutie, Wren Ross, and other pod safe music. Love that stuff…
Just saying… Now I am tweny nine… so close to thirty I can feel it in my gullet.
If my birthday Karma is good, when I get home I should have the August copy of Get Creative Magazine featuring a little lurb about me. I hope the photo came out nice.
I will let you guys know that my pumkin has agreed to join me tonight at my knitting group. This is a great deal for me seeing as I need some knitting help and I want to spend some time with my pumkin. My late night job has been taking me away from her… phwey..
Like a lightening bolt, it just dawned on me what to ask for from my parents (yes they still like getting me presents(and yes I still like recieving said presents from the folks)). I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before. But I know that I have been drewling over the EZ workshop dvds and book since I heard about them. So there you have it… Obsessed, obsessed, obsessed…
Not a new revalation.
I am going to come out of my break to do a very special Birthday episode. OK, my birthday is on Wednesday and I won’t do the show until at least Saturday. So that means that by the time you hear the show you should be able to hear a new found sense of maturity in my voice…
The next episode will actually be my rainy day episode. So if you don’t want to hear yet another lamenting knitter… than I recommend you stay away… But if you like the melo-drama, like I do, this is the one for you. Is it possible to get excited about a depressing show?

So I went to D.C. and visted with my family and friends. My little cousins both recieved hand made gifts, and they both loved them so much. Making it awesome… I also went to the new native american museum, which I highly recommend.
